Each province should have an armed forces cemetery

Editor, First and foremost, I wish to appreciate the good work being done by members of Rwanda Defence Forces (RDF) and National Police. Their commitment to ensure peace and stability in the country is not questionable.

Editor,First and foremost, I wish to appreciate the good work being done by members of Rwanda Defence Forces (RDF) and National Police. Their commitment to ensure peace and stability in the country is not questionable. However, there is something I always wanted to propose to them.  The RDF and Police have only one cemetery that is located at Kanombe in Kigali. While putting to rest all Rwandan men and women in one place is a good idea, the distance the bereaved families have to walk to Kanombe should be put into consideration. Some families live as far as Cyangungu and incur high transport costs to travel to Kigali. They also have to pay accommodation fees as they cannot attend burial at Kanombe and return to Cyangungu the same day.How about developing one cemetery in every province at least?
