THE national sitting volleyball team will not take part in the intercontinental sitting volleyball team tournament scheduled for February 29-3 March.According to the President of the National Paralympic Committee, Dominique Bizimana, the team failed to secure funding from the Sports Ministry.Netherlands, Germany, Australia, Nigeria and Japan are part of 15 countries expected to take part in the four-day event.In 2010, the national Sitball team won the world Sitball championship. The team has also qualified for 2012 London Paralympics Games.
