2013 Africa Nations Cup qualifier(February 29)Rwanda vs Nigeria (Amahoro stadium)THE first leg of the 2013 Africa Nations Cup qualifier between Rwanda and Nigeria will be handled by South Africa’s referee Daniel Bennett. The 36-year-old is one of South Africa’s five FIFA-badged referees, and will be assisted by fellow South Africans Zakhele Thusi Siwela (1st Assistant), Luyanda Somi (2nd Assistant) and Tinyiko Victor Hlungani (Reserve Referee). Hassan Waberi Suleiman from Djibouti will be the match commissioner.Apart from APR and Kiyovu players who have champions league and confederations cup ties, the rest of the Amavubi squad is expected to enter camp next week.Although Micho has had a near perfect start as Amavubi coach after a run of seven wins, two draws and one defeat, the Serbian faces his stiffest test when he takes on the Super Eagles, who are still smarting from their failure to qualify for this year’s Nations Cup that climaxes this weekend. While Nigeria has secured two international friendlies in the build-up to the qualifier, Amavubi will not play any high-profile friendly prior to the qualifier something which has drawn criticism from different sections of Amavubi fans.
