Zambia ruling party sued for defamation
Zambia’s Movement for Multiparty Democracy party (MMD) has sued the ruling Patriotic Front (PF) for alleging that it printed fake $579 million (K3 trillion) in China prior to the September presidential elections.

Zambia’s Movement for Multiparty Democracy party (MMD) has sued the ruling Patriotic Front (PF) for alleging that it printed fake $579 million (K3 trillion) in China prior to the September presidential elections.PF which was elected into office on September 20, 2011, has made several allegations against MMD, which ruled the country from 1991 until 2011.MMD is suing Commerce minister Robert Sichinga for special and punitive damages over the allegations.
