NIGERIA Football Federation (NFF) has called up 30 players to join camp ahead of the 2013 Africa Nations Cup first leg qualifier against Amavubi. The match is slated for February 29 in Kigali. The Super Eagles head Coach, Stephen Keshi, who has been one of the pundits for Super Sport at the on-going Africa Nations Cup, is back in Nigeria and is expected to work closely with his assistant Daniel Amokachi. Before the first leg, Nigeria will play friendlies against Liberia (February 15) and Benin (February 19).Despite the huge gulf in Fifa rankings between the two sides, ex- Super Eagles midfielder Toyin Ayinla has warned Nigeria not to underrate Rwanda. The 1990 African Cup Winners Cup medalist with BCC Lions of Gboko believes incorporating more home-based players will give the Super Eagles good balance."There is no small team again in football. Nobody gave Equatorial Guinea a chance to reach the quarter finals of the on-going Nations Cup but they did it in style so we should not look at Rwanda as a walkover because they have players to hurt us,” he warned.
