EditorThe East African Community Secretary General, Dr Richard Sezibera was recently quoted in the media promising that the secretariat will work harder to ensure the implementation of the bloc’s single tourist visa to promote the region as a single tourist destination. The benefits are immense and there is no reason why the five EAC countries cannot immediately adopt one common visa. East Africa is indeed one of the most awe-inspiring regions in the world with diverse cultures and features. Each particular country has its own identity but each would complement the other.
