Chips, ice cream, burgers, sweets, biscuits and chocolates are some of the foods most kids are crazy about. They never miss out on their shopping lists when going back to school or even during the holidays. The fact about these foods is that they taste good because of their ingredients like oil, sugar and salt, which make them even more appealing and can cause addiction.  People who are always in a rush also prefer this kind of food because it is usually quick to prepare. The fact that junk food is advertised more and quite expensive leaves people choosing to eat it instead of healthier foods. These foods might be tasty but they do more harm than good to the body. This is why they are called junk food - to mean useless, or of less value.  The health complications they expose to children who eat them are many. Sometimes because of eating too much junk food, some children suffer from heart infections, obesity, tooth cavities, digestive complications and kidney failure at an early age.  Here are some of healthy foods for children.Foods that have low calories or sugar and fat are the way to go. These include fresh fruits, boiled eggs, vegetables, brown grain, and many other foods. Remember to drink water every day because it is the best medicine. Water prevents dehydration.
