Kirehe-A 36-year-old man is suspected to have committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling of his house in Nasho Sector of Kirehe District.The body of Binyagu Ndaribonye was found by neighbours. Although the possible cause of the suicide is yet to be determined, neighbours said it could have been motivated by alcohol.According to the Executive Secretary of the sector, Adelite Hakizamungu, the deceased had a long history of alcohol abuse.He said that cases of suicide were extremely rare in the area, but quickly added that it was essential to find out why it was surfacing.A local resident, who gave his name only as Jean Damascene, said he was shocked by the death."I just cannot believe the news regarding Ndaribonye. We greeted each other a couple of days ago and shared a drink later in the month. I’m shocked,” he mentioned.
