Beauty is something which is pleasing to the eyes and soul. One may be beautiful physically or behaviour wise. Regarding physical beauty, there are wide interpretations. The same person may seem beautiful to an individual, while another one may find him or her to be ordinary looking. Any individual looks beautiful when young. This is due to the effect of hormones. Moreover the body is young and supple. But as age advances, changes of aging like wrinkling of the face and limbs, greying of hair, e.t.c., set in. But some basic things contribute to the beauty of a person, irrespective of his looks and age of the person. They are considered to be eternally beautiful. Good health is one feature which makes one look attractive. A healthy person has a unique glow on the face, which makes him or her look attractive. A shapely figure, free of extra bulges of fat is of course what everyone desires. A person with a good figure stands out in a crowd. Personal hygiene is also an attribute which adds to the charm of an individual. Somebody may be having a very good complexion and features, but if there are patches of grime on the face or body, he loses his appeal. Similarly if the clothes are dirty and or crumpled, an individual does not look attractive.  A smile and or laughter are also   some of the qualities which make one look charming. Any individual looks beautiful when he is smiling or laughing. His natural physical features may be coarse or good, but the face looks beautiful and attractive. Imagine a very beautiful woman while scowling. She may be having a very lovely face but will not look attractive with the scowl on her face.Now after the physical looks of a person, something that creates an impression on others is his speech and manners. A courteous and soft spoken person always draws people to him like a magnet. In contrast some persons lose their appeal, once they start speaking. If they demonstrate lack of manners or are sarcastic and critical in speaking, nobody likes them. Therefore if a person wants to remain eternally beautiful, he needs to practice some things in his day to day routine.He or she needs to maintain a good health. A proper balanced diet, regular physical exercise and abstinence from addictions like alcohol and tobacco help in this. Maintaining a regular routine of sleeping and waking are also helpful in keeping a good health.One should give due attention to his personal hygiene. This includes daily bath and keeping the hair and teeth clean. The clothes worn may not be very expensive and fashionable. Even simple clothes add to one’s personality if they are clean and ironed. A person needs to practice to smile forever. It is not difficult and costs nothing. A good laugh at times helps one to relax him and also relaxes other people around him. Manners are a very important part of one’s overall personality. Children are taught good manners from early childhood in majority of the families. But one needs to cultivate them in a way that they become an integral part of a person’s personality and come spontaneously. A person who exhibits good manners at every step, i.e., while meeting a person, while talking and departing, always forms a favourable impression on the other person. Last but not the least, a person speaking softly and sweetly is always considered beautiful by onlookers. This is a quality which can be cultivated by all with little practice. Avoid speaking sarcastically and critically about anybody. If you see a fault in some person, it is better to point out the fault politely and also give suggestions politely as how to correct it. These qualities will definitely make a person beautiful and attractive to others, irrespective of his age, gender or socioeconomic status. By practicing these qualities, an individual can remain eternally beautiful.
