A Cambodian-flagged freighter ship sank off Turkey’s Black Sea coast, a Turkish official said on Tuesday.The freighter ship sank one mile off the coast of Eregli town in the province of Zonguldak. Zonguldak Governor Erol Ayyildiz said 10 Polish crew members are missing and two crew members have been rescued and taken to hospital, according to the semi-official Anatolia news agency.The Vera dry cargo ship was sailing to Turkey’s Aliaga port from Russia when it sank on the stormy sea. The coast guards and police were still searching for the missing crew members. 

About 10 days ago, another freighter ship kept taking on water after brushed against two other wessels in adverse weather off the coast of Istanbul. The ship was pulled ashore after hours of rescue efforts by local authorities.
