NIGERIA’s Super Eagles will play Angola in a friendly match as part of their preparation for the 2013 Nations Cup first leg qualifier against Amavubi.

The friendly is slated for February 15, 14 days before the qualifier which will be staged at Amahoro Stadium.

Last week, the wasps had planned to play Congo Brazzaville but the later called off the friendly after failing to assemble a formidable team.

The Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) has also scrapped a scheduled training camp in Nairobi.

"Most of the players the coach wants to use for the Rwanda tie are foreign-based so it wouldn’t be possible to have professional players in camp for over two weeks,” Dr. Emmanuel Ikpeme, Head of Technical Department of the NFF was quoted as saying.

"Our plan now is to camp in Nigeria and take a chartered flight to Kigali on the eve of the match,” he added.

Amavubi players will rejoin camp after both APR and Kiyovu’s continental engagements. APR play Tusker of Kenya in the Orange Caf Champions League while the green baggies are up against Simba in the Orange Confederation Cup.

On Saturday, the wasps thumped a Primus League select-side 4-0.
