Editor,

I am writing to express my gratitude to Bralirwa for its continued support to the local music industry.

When the country’s largest soft drinks and beverages manufacturer started the Primus Guma Guma Super Star-PGGSS, most of us thought that the firm would not live up to its promises.

In fact, few Rwandans barely believed it when they announced that the winner would record a song with famous dancehall Jamaican American musician, Sean Kingston.

However, as you have seen, the winner Tom Close has a song with Sean Kingston after he received all the prizes the company had promised.

The exposure they gave to musicians during their several tours across the country in last year’s PGGSS event was a big contribution to their careers as it brought the musicians closer to their fans than never before.

Season Two of the now illustrious contest is about to kick off. I hope the selected musicians give their all as there is a lot to gain at the end.
