Editor,
Rwanda Civil Aviation Authority (RCAA) recently reported that air traffic into the country will increase by up to 300 flights a week from the current position of 200 flights a week thus registering a 50 percent increase in air connectivity.
This translates into more business people visiting the country either for leisure or to explore business opportunities available in areas like ICT, education, mining, transport or tourism.
The fact that leading airlines like South African Airways, Emirates, Qatar Airways and Turkish Airlines have either confirmed their entry entered into the country speaks volumes about the progress being made.
Coupled with this, RwandAir is rapidly increasing its footprint not only into Africa but also a few select
international destinations. Kudos to RCAA.
