Allow me to express my concern over the recent power cut experienced in Kacyiru, especially the area surrounding the new library and close to CAMERWA in Virunga Cell, Kibaza Sector.  Over the past few months, a few households and businesses have experienced unusually long power cuts.

The most recent was from Sunday evening till Wednesday this week. When we inquire from the EWSA, we are always told that the power cut is due to a technical hitch. However, our concern is why the power firm takes over two days to rectify the problem.

Besides, this is not the first time we have endured such a predicament. This is an urgent problem that needs quick answers.

Even more sickening is why the anomaly affects only a few homes while the whole neighbourhood has power. Over to you EWSA.
