Dear Editor,

Allow me to extend my sincere appreciation to you for the work you do for us. The recent issues you raised about MTN network truly depicted that you are a society watch dog.

I concur with you that the problems of network failure had become a menace to so many people especially within Kigali.

However, for the past few days things seem to be returning to normal though at a slow pace. At least during the day, one can successfully make a call and receive an SMS with fewer difficulties.

Yesterday I made a call to my relative in Canada and it successfully went through, yet this was almost impossible two weeks ago.

Nonetheless, trouble remains with evenings, which I presume are your peak hours. It’s a bit difficult to pass through at these hours. As we appreciate improvement in network during the day, kindly work on these peak hours also.

Otherwise, we hope you have laid long term strategic plans to ensure that the current mess does not repeat itself. Keep up the good work.
