SUPER Eagles coach Stephen Keshi is leaving no stone unturned ahead of next month’s 2013 Africa Nations Cup qualifier against Amavubi. The first leg will be played on February 29 in Kigali with the return leg slated for June.
Keshi, who was responding to various questions from the Nigerian press, said he was reviewing tapes of matches involving Amavubi.
"We (Keshi and Nigeria’s technical bench) have started reviewing tapes of Rwanda’s matches for the 2014 World Cup qualifiers as well as last year’s Cecafa Tusker Challenge Cup,” the former Mali and Togo coach said.
Keshi also revealed that the Super Eagles would either camp in Kenya or Tanzania in the build-up to the first leg.
"We are looking at the possibility of training in a country with similar weather conditions to Kigali. For now, Nairobi and Dar es Salam are under consideration.”
The last time the two teams met was in the 2006 World Cup qualifiers. Nigeria won the first leg in Abuja 2-0 before being held to a 1-all draw in Kigali.
