RWANDA have to quickly find their feet after falling four places in the latest Fifa world rankings. Last month, the wasps climbed eight places to 106 after a remarkable performance in the Cecafa Senior Challenge Cup held in Dar es Salaam.

The team is now ranked 110 but remain unmoved on the continent (27) and in the Cecafa region (2).

Uganda, who moved up eight places to 82 in the world rankings continue to lead the Cecafa region.

Sudan, who will represent the region at this year’s Africa Nations Cup, are 120, Kenya is ranked 121 while Ethiopia are further back in 133rd place. Tanzania and Burundi are 137 and 141 respectively.

Rwanda’s 2013 Nations Cup opponents - Nigeria, dropped two places to 45. They are ranked 6th on the continent.

World and European champion Spain stayed atop FIFA’s mainly unchanged rankings.

The Netherlands are second, ahead of Germany, South American champions Uruguay and England. Brazil, Portugal, Croatia, Italy and Argentina complete the top ten slots.

Chile moved up one spot to No.12, trading places with Russia.

2012 Africa Nations Cup favourites Ivory Coast dropped two places to 18, while the host teams Gabon and Equatorial Guinea are ranked 91 and 151, respectively.
