Government’s decision to lower fuel prices is obviously a welcome move. However, when I was listening to the radio, the day after prices dropped, some callers argued that the Rwf60 reduction was small. Believe you me, though it may seem meager, it can have a big implication on the cost of living in general as costs such us transport consequently go down.

However, for this to take place, there should be close follow up so that those that hiked prices when fuel prices went up, should adjust accordingly.
