This week, the Executive Secretary of the Public Service Commission (PSC), Angelina Muganza, said that cases of irregularities in the recruitment public servants had tremendously reduced over the past four years.

Recruitment procedures must always be done in a transparent matter. Employees must secure jobs on merit and those in violation of such procedures must be punished.

Even today, cases of irregularities in employment of civil servants still abound leaving the civil service exposed as a result of poor workmanship. The PSC must therefore emphasise on recording interviews to minimise on the escalating number of complainants
