I am a resident of Ndeba surburb of Kampala, Uganda. I drove around Kigali city last week and experienced a sense of relief from our usually chaotic city. In Kigali, there are side walks, functioning streetlights and flower gardens which are well managed. I know Kampala can learn one or two things from Kigali.

Kigali offers Kampala and other regional countries some best practices in the maintenance of infrastructure without stealing from funds meant for road construction and maintenance.

I have read about various delegations visiting Rwanda on study tours. What happens there after? Is there some sort of follow up? In the broader spirit of EAC integration, let’s learn from each other’s best practices.
