Gasabo District Vice Mayor in charge of Social Affairs, Marie Louse Uwimana’s call to area residents to embrace Umurenge Sacco to fight poverty was spot on. Undisputed evidence shows that the programme has helped many Rwandans to improve their lives.

In areas where Umurenge Sacco was introduced first and leaders sensitised residents, people’s lives have positively changed. Leaders need to regularly educate their residents to put their efforts together and access financial services.
