AMAVUBI assistant coach Eric Nshimiyimana has joined Isonga FC’s technical bench according to the club chairman Augustin Munyandamutsa.

"We are glad to have him (Nshimiyimana) on board. He brings vast experience and we have no doubt that he is a valuable addition to the club.”

Nshimiyimana is equally happy to join the youthful side and is looking forward to the new challenge.

"We have agreed in principal that I will be working with the team for one year,” the former APR coach said.

Nshimiyimana will however miss today’s Peace Cup clash with APR. He is expected to start work on Wednesday when Isonga take on Marine in the Primus League.

The 39-year-old was part of that memorable Amavubi team which qualified for the 2004 Africa Nations Cup in Tunisia.
