A delegation of 11 Swedish Members of Parliament, headed by Berit Hogman, yesterday held discussions with the parliamentary committee on agriculture, animal husbandry and environment.
According to a statement from Parliament, the Swedish legislators were briefed on ongoing development programmes such as the energy and education sectors, and the freedom of press.
"The legislators were also taken through the ongoing media reforms, the green revolution where districts are required to grow certain crops, and the One-Cow-Per-Household,” the statement partly reads.
The delegation is also in the country to visit projects funded by the Swedish government.
