‘Bye-Bye Vacance’ concert on Friday

MUSIC lovers are in for a real treat this Friday January 6, as local musicians take to the stage at Petit Stade at Kigali suburb of Remera. The ‘Bye-Bye Vacance’ concert will offer students another reason to celebrate after the long vacation and the New Year’s festivities. The concert, which starts at 2 p.m, is organised by Talent Detection limited.

MUSIC lovers are in for a real treat this Friday January 6, as local musicians take to the stage at Petit Stade at Kigali suburb of Remera.

The ‘Bye-Bye Vacance’ concert will offer students another reason to celebrate after the long vacation and the New Year’s festivities. The concert, which starts at 2 p.m, is organised by Talent Detection limited.

Prior to its commencement, there will be a final contest to determine the winner of the Talent Detection as well as a Salsa dance performance. Admission charges are Rwf1,000 for the ordinary section and Rwf3,000  for the VIP area.

Some of the lined up artistes are Riderman, King James, Bull Dog, Jay- Polly, Dream Boys, Kamichi, Kitoko, Knowles and Babou. DJs DEELEXY and Kerb will entertain in a one-of-a-kind concert.

The After Party event takes place at Atmosphere Club, Pasadena in Gikondo. The entrance fee is Rfw2,000.

Gaston Rurangwa, the founder of Talent Detection limited, said the aim of the concert is to promote talented local artistes and motivate students at the start of the new academic year.

"I want students to brace themselves for the concert because artistes intend to give them a show to remember,” Rurangwa affirmed.
