Local songbird Liza Kamikazi married her beau, David Wald, at a small private wedding ceremony on December 31.

The wedding that was attended by family members and friends also doubled as the baptism day of Liza and Wald’s adopted son King David, at Huye Cathedral.

Liza Kamikazi, real name Solange Umuhire, is a Rwandan singer, songwriter and actress. She was born in 1987, in Huye District (formerly Butare), Southern Province.

Her husband, Wald, is a music instructor who hopes to begin Music and Arts school at the Huye based National University of Rwanda.
