Diaspora members can help counter revisionism

Editor,
I am a Rwandan living in Bern, Switzerland. The National Commission for the Fight against Genocide’s (CNLG) recent plea to members of the Rwandan Diaspora to counter revisionism was timely as harbouring the Genocide ideology can hinder the progress we have made so far as a nation.
Here, in Europe, there are numerous groups negating the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi through various activities, including conferences and public lectures.
My worry is that the world can easily be misled by such revisionist narratives.
I am of the view that members of the Diaspora, who witnessed the Genocide, should do more by confronting the revisionists with truth. Let’s come together and go up against such evil.
