In Kigali, different hairdos are everywhere. You will see people using different materials to liven up their look. Choppy lengths and layers make long hair more interesting.
While we are all influenced by trends, perhaps the biggest fashion faux pas. We all come in different shapes and sizes and with hair perhaps more so than anything else it is essential to think about what suits you. Your face shape and hair type will mae all the difference.
Think face shape
People generally have one of the five main facial shapes which are oval, the oblong or long shaped face, round, square, or heart shaped face.
Your face shape is your basis for your hairstyle, so be sure to take on board the following tips: If your face is oval, you’re lucky; you can get away with most styles.
Longish or oblong faces will need some curves to provide the illusion of width and so as to not end up looking too long faced!
If your face is round, be wary of chin length hair and styles that put more volume on top. You could end up looking chubbier than you are.
Square faces should try and detract attention from the jaw line. Layers help with this. But steer clear of the bob. A person with a heart-shaped face should try and create width at the jaw line.
