Through your paper allow me space to express my heartfelt appreciation to Eddie D. Nkurukenzire, one of the English News anchors, on Rwanda television.

Honestly even if you deliberately do not want to admit, because you think there are some who are better than him on TVR, he remains the best English news presenter in country. You will to some extent agree with me that the guy does his unique thing in the studio.

Probably, despite his experience, like how you may defend yourself, Nkurukenzire is confident whenever presenting news. And to me, it looks like he borrowed a leaf from some of these international news anchors on CNN or BBC.

Certainly, if this is true, it has then worked in his favour, because he doesn’t force the tone of voice or drama act, while presenting.

Just like many of my friends, I guess Nkurukenzire is worthy congratulating. Unlike some of our news anchors, for him he doesn’t sit stiff when presenting, he tries to balance his engagements more gently and intelligently, thus making the whole stuff amazing.

No wonder, I always enjoy the news whenever he presents. No strings attached!
