By the end of Christmas day, many children are in tears because of stomachache.
Well, there is only one explanation for that. Children tend to eat themselves silly on Christmas day like it’s their last meal on earth.
On Christmas, everyone’s favorite meal is prepared and that is why many children get excited and eat lots and lots of food.
The appetizing aroma that comes from the kitchen is very tempting. It leaves most children very eager for the Christmas lunch meal. When it’s time for the meal, often times children eat way too much than their bodies can contain.
However, this very bad habit only brings misery at the end of a happy day. The pain is not worth it. As children, let us eat wisely so that we do not have to suffer from tummy aches this Christmas.
When lunch is actually served, try to eat reasonably and leave some breathing space for you and your stomach. You do not want to end the day with your head in the sink (or toilet) and laying in bed sick to the core.
Happy Festive season and remember to eat wisely not insanely!
