Mukura takes Primus league lead

Mukura has taken control of Primus National Football League standings after a 2-1 victory over Isonga Fc over the weekend in Huye. Patrice Uwimana and Godfrey Sagawa earned victory for the Huye-based side Mukura while Patrick Sibomana netted the consolation goal for the youthful visitors.

Mukura has taken control of Primus National Football League standings after a 2-1 victory over Isonga Fc over the weekend in Huye.

Patrice Uwimana and Godfrey Sagawa earned victory for the Huye-based side Mukura while Patrick Sibomana netted the consolation goal for the youthful visitors.

Mukura has now amassed 17 points in eight matches to sit at the top of the standings while Isonga has one point in three matches played so far.

Police and Etincelles, who occupy the second and third places respectively, have 15 points but the former have a better goal difference.

Mukura will next play away to Nyanza in their next assignment on December 28 while Isonga’s next assignment will be against Nyanza on January 4, 2012.

Other matches which will be played next week include; title holders APR playing away to Amagaju; SC Kiyovu will clash with Rayon Sports; Police will host AS Kigali while La Jeunesse will play away to Etincelles.
