I wish to comment to a story in The Sunday Times, December 18, titled "Rwandans urged to donate blood.” The move by employees of MTN to donate blood is noble and should serve as an example for companies.

All of us know that blood saves lives and I wish to appeal to all Rwandans to participate in blood donation exercises.

It is clear that most people have no idea about the importance of blood donation. It will be helpful if the public is sensitized about the importance of blood donation.
