In yesterday’s issue of The New Times there was a story of irregularities in the Girinka scheme that was partly financed by Banque Populaire du Rwanda (BPR).

As a nation with citizens doing their best to make a living from agriculture, it is always important to ensure that farmers get the best services to transform their lives positively.

I wish to petition our parliament to set up an independent investigation team and get to the root of the scandal and bring to book those found culpable.
