Atraco Fc new signing Hamis Kitagenda salvaged a point for the taxi-men in a 1-1 draw with Kibuye on Wednesday.
Kitagenda signed at the start of the second leg scored on the 70th minute after Jean de Dieu Kagabo had given the home side the lead in the 30th minute.
Despite Atraco’s domination, Kibuye managed to hold on for a point, which also denied Atraco the chance to reclaim the top spot from APR.
Jean Marie Ntagwabira’s side has drawn their last two games and remains on second position with 32 points, one behind main rivals and defending champions APR.
Kibuye is placed on eighth position with 12 points from 14 rounds of matches. Elsewhere, Rayon Sport managed needed a late goal from Roger Tuyisenge to see of a determined AS Kigali at Nyamirambo stadium.
The Rwandan international scored with seven minutes remaining to give the blues a morale boosting win ahead of their Caf Confederations Cup second round second leg tie against Sudan’s El Merreikh at Nyamirambo stadium on Sunday.

Mukura scored their goals through Daddy Birora (2) and Freddie Bowura(2) while Yusuf Ndayishimiye(2) and Bosco Gasana scored for the Nyamirambo outfit.
At Camp Kigali grounds, Said Mugisha and Ahmed Luzinga scored as Electrogaz beat Etincelles 2-1. Donata Mwinyi scored Etincelles’ consolation.
Relegation threatened Military suffered yet another disappointing moment as they lost 4-0 away to Marines at Umuganda stadium.
