Amagaju  1-0  Isonga

Isonga Fc head coach Vincent Mashami thinks his team can do a lot better in its debut season in the top flight division despite losing their opening tie 1-0 to Amagaju on Saturday.

The lone goal that was scored by striker Seleman Kibuta on the 10th minute was enough to give the hosts a win over the youthful side.

"We played some good football but wasted many scoring chances. Nonetheless, it has taught us to be more lethal in front of goal and that is what we will do,” Mashami told Times Sport.

The Inyange sponsored club, which is made up of players from the U-17 national team that played at the 2011 Fifa U-17 World Cup in Mexico, will next take on Espoir on Thursday before playing away to Mukura three days later.
