The Rwandan national football team, Amavubi, over the weekend lost the CEACAFA Tusker senior challenge cup to Uganda Cranes.

Any game that is decided on penalties is always difficult to predict and can swing to either side, as we witnessed on Saturday.

As a fan who watched all the Amavubi games during this tournament, it is even harder to take the loss in.

However, after serious reflection, there is no reason why we should not be proud of the team. They did exceptionally well during the entire tournament and moved from non-contenders to tournament favourites.

Through your paper, I would like to urge the lads to hold themselves with high esteem as they made us proud.
