FOR those of you disenchanted about the country’s entertainment industry, it’s time to air your views on
what you think should be changed.

Contact FM’s weekly talk show, Cross Fire, will this Sunday focus on issues of concern in the entertainment
industry today. Top on the agenda will be police’s frequent clampdown on events and parties as well as the
burning the issue of underage youth who frequent bars and musical concerts.

‘We dedicated this Sunday to the entertainment industry to debate issues that are affecting it. There are
issues of under age children going to parties where alcohol is served. We want to find out who’s to blame
for this; is it the police, parents or the event organisers’ explained Ken Eugene Anangwe, the host and
producer of Crossfire.

"Also note that investment in the entertainment sector seems to have taken the backburner. We haven’t seen
incentives being given to people who want to invest in this sector and yet it has potential and plays a
major role in Rwanda’s development,” explained Anangwe.

"We want to get answers to some of these questions and debate them in Sunday’s show,” he added.

By tabling such burning issues, there is no better guest in the studio than Gasabo Mayor, Willy Ndizeye who
has faced severe criticism over the closure of various popular entertainment establishments within his
jurisdiction, terming them as noisy or a security threat.

Also to appear on the show is Mark Davis Genza, the Managing Director of Show Time, a Kigali-based events
company.

Aired weekly, Crossfire is co-hosted by a panel comprising of Charles Haba and Ignatius Kabagambe.
