Sunrise FC head coach Innocent Seninga won’t be available on the club touchline until early May after undergoing surgery.
Seninga sustained an Achilles tendon injury while preparing his team for the league game against Gorilla on Friday, March 31, and had to undergo an operation.
Club Secretary General Dr. Frank Kahangwa revealed that the gaffer has been given a month off for his recovery process.

"Seninga sustained an Achilles tendon injury prior to our game with Gorilla and he had surgery," Kahangwa told Times Sport.
"He had been given one month for his recovery process,” he added.
In Seninga’s absence, Kahangwa said, his assistant Gilbert Tugirimana will take charge of the team he returns.
"Assistant coach will be at the helm of affairs until the head coach returns," he added.

The tactician could be back on May 6 when Sunrise FC host Musanze in a league encounter that will be held at Nyagatare Stadium.
Sunrise currently sit 13th on the league table with 25 points from 24 games.
