When it comes to relationships, everything done should be out of mutual understanding and respect.
My neighbour, Maureen’s spouse thinks she makes more money than he does. This makes him demand for anything he needs from her. At times, she is not okay with his attitude because he also has a job and earns a salary, but she has no option but spend because she loves him.

There is no need to treat a spouse as a parent providing for children. It is so wrong to get into a relationship and make financial demands of a partner. It is unfair to the meaning of true love. Love is a beautiful feeling that should never be tarnished by materialism.
Build first the strong solid foundation of a relationship on love and the rest shall follow in line. After all, true love knows no wealth. Partners should remember that they should never be relationship burdens to each other. With this in mind, love will flourish.
