Hategeka wins Anti-Corruption cycling tourney

GASORE Hategeka showed incredible power ad determination after winning the Anti-corruption cycling tour on Sunday afternoon. The 24-year-old rider, who rides for Benediction cycling club, used 3 hours, 12 minutes and 45 seconds.

GASORE Hategeka showed incredible power ad determination after winning the Anti-corruption cycling tour on Sunday afternoon.

The 24-year-old rider, who rides for Benediction cycling club, used 3 hours, 12 minutes and 45 seconds.

Veteran Innocent Uwamungu a.k.a Rocky came in second place, 50 seconds behind Hategeka, while Nicodem Habiyambere claimed the final podium slot.

In the ladies’ fray, Angelique Munkandezi, Jeanette Uwimana and Diane Uwineza finished first, second and third in that order.

Over 60 riders took part in the 80km race that was a prelude to the Anti-corruption week which ends this week.

The one day tournament was sponsored by the Ombudsman’s office.
