‘Aho Ruzingiye’ was supposed to be one of the best concerts this year and it turned out to be just that. With up and coming Rwandan artiste Kamichi launching his debut album ‘Umugabirwa’ alongside Jamican Dancehall singer Elephant man, there was no room for disillusionment.

Besides the duo, there was a host of local artists lined up to entertain the thousands of fans who thronged the main tent at the Expo Grounds in Gikondo. Musicians King James, Riderman, Knowles, TNP, Babu, Dream Boys and Jay Polly were at their best as curtain raisers before Kamichi, who began with a live performance delighted fans with tracks from his ‘Umugabirwa’ album.

At around 11:30 p.m, clad in tight black jeans and a white coat, Elephant man appeared on the stage. Though he did not perform a live performance, he more than managed to thoroughly entertain his eager fans with an energetic performance for close to an hour.
