Dodos Kayitankole is a sports journalist working with City Radio. He says his work keeps him between the studio and the field, except during the weekend.

Below is how he goes on with his daily work;

I wake up at around 4:30a.m and use about twenty minutes to prepare myself before I head off for work. By 5a.m, I am at the work place, planning for the early morning sports news in brief.

At 6:25a.m, I am in the studios for about 5-10 minutes after which I start preparing for the next full sports news round-up that takes me an hour from 9 to 10a.m.

At around 11a.m, I may go out for either an exclusive interview or press conference and thereafter head home for a short break or rest.

Although not always, this might be in preparation to either go for a match or any other sports related activity.

Most of the time work dictates when I have lunch. However, if I am not so busy, I have lunch at 1p.m.

If there happens to be no sports activities, I use the afternoon to work on what I will present the following morning.

By 7p.m, I am done with work. I may then decide to meet friends or go home.

I have supper at around 9p.m but go to bed at around 11. This is because I spend some time watching movies or listening to music.
