FORMER Amavubi captain Haruna Niyonzima has retaliated to rumours linking him with a return to APR, insisting that he is happy at Yanga. The midfielder joined the Tanzanian club in the transfer window after being released by APR and has become an integral member of the first team.

FORMER Amavubi captain Haruna Niyonzima has retaliated to rumours linking him with a return to APR, insisting that he is happy at Yanga.
The midfielder joined the Tanzanian club in the transfer window after being released by APR and has become an integral member of the first team.
"People will always come up with all sorts of stories. The truth is I’m happy at Yanga and want to win trophies with them,” he said.
Niyonzima, who also played for Etincelles and Rayon Sports, won three league titles, two Peace Cups and one Cecafa titles during his time at APR.
He is currently with the Amavubi squad in Tanzania for the Tusker Challenge Cup which starts tomorrow.
