Studying is stressful before exams, but eventually pays off.

Exams are just over for everyone throughout the country and the students are now at a relaxation mode.

At the beginning of the academic session when exams are far from schedule, they seem irrelevant and unimportant. Students usually feel very relaxed and confident at that time because there is enough time to hang out with friends, watch movies and be happy.

However, surprisingly days pass on very fast. By the time you think of making a reading timetable, exams are very close. Before your timetable is made, for the exams is already announced by the school.

Now an average student sits down to start preparing for the forthcoming exams.  They realize that the subject is so vast. They feel frightened seeing the extent of curriculum they have to cover. This generates anxiety and they start experiencing anxiety. When they start reading due to the mental stress, they are not able to assimilate what he is reading.  Thus, they feel more tense and frightened.

On D-day, they start writing exams under tension. Since they are not thoroughly prepared with the subject, they spend a lot time thinking for a suitable answer for any question. As the time for writing the exam ends, it is possible that they missed answering one question and this realization makes them tenser.

Thus, they go home and start preparing for the exam another day with more mental stress. Thus, a vicious cycle is set up.

Some brave students face this situation as it comes. However, a few weak minded ones succumb to the stress and make up excuses for their non-performance.

However, some students are exceptions to these. They are very regular and organized in their work. From the first day of school, they revise their lessons regularly.  At the beginning of exams, they eat and sleep well like any other day. They face the exam with a cool and relaxed mind and are able to finish answering the question paper well in time.

Now it is for each student to watch their seniors and decide what type of situation they wish to land into for their final exams.
