Over the weekend, the Rwanda Patriotic Font (RPF) held the 16th International and National Congress, and celebrations for its 35th Anniversary, where several international delegates and representatives of different political parties passed on key messages to the RPF and Rwandans.

The parties that led countries to liberation have to bear in mind the continuity of developing internal trust and strengthening institutions because without them, corruption will be a destabilizing factor.
The lack of capacity to pass on history to new generations is a great challenge of the future but we should not lose sight of the danger of external interests because our continent offers great opportunities in terms of development.

My party and RPF are revolutionary movements born on a philosophy that aims at bringing about the transformation and prosperity of our people.

This great nation has shown that it can rise from nothing and achieve much. We love President Paul Kagame and we are proud to partner with RPF to advance the welfare of our people. I have been here for three days and I have been fascinated by what I saw.

There is so much to show for the 35 years RPF has been in existence. We want to also thank Rwanda for supporting our candidate for EALA leadership.

The bilateral ties between Tanzania and Rwanda are mainly bolstered by the economic infrastructure we share. They are growing because of the peace and security ushered in by RPF.
