Addressing poor customer care vital for tourism industry

Editor, Efforts to rebrand the tourism sector gives us hope that tourism will definitely reap more fruits for our economy. However, I am disturbed by reports of poor customer care especially in our hospitality industry where services leave a lot to be desired.

Efforts to rebrand the tourism sector gives us hope that tourism will definitely reap more fruits for our economy. However, I am disturbed by reports of poor customer care especially in our hospitality industry where services leave a lot to be desired.

I believe that the approach by the tourism department  to support training institutions is a timely remedy to this challenge that has been bogging down the sector. But, there have been positive results in the industry since private players got actively involved in the dollar minting industry- tourism.
