The institution will be honoured with the Le Matinal Educational Excellence Award which includes a trophy and citation next month. The institution will be honoured with the Le Matinal Educational Excellence Award which includes a trophy and citation next month.
KHI was recognised for innovation, academic and leadership interface as well as the supreme objective of building future leaders.
The award is the highest honour to individuals and institutions that have surpassed several levels of excellence and emerged role models of exemplary leadership.
A statement signed by Colin Travis, the Global Chairman of Le Matinal, says that the award ceremony is scheduled to take place on December 14 at Sugar Beach resorts in Mauritius.
"I am pleased to share with you that Kigali Health Institute will be honoured with Award for the best educational institute in healthcare. The award consists of a trophy and citation,” reads the statement in part.
Dr Chantal Kabagabo, the Rector at KHI, expressed gratitude for the recognition and said that more details would be divulged when the award is finally presented.
