FERWAFA has promised to promote home-grown players.

The president of the football governing body, Celestin Ntagungira made the promise during his visit to youth academies in the Eastern Province.

"It’s high time Rwanda stopped over-relying on foreign players because the best way of excelling is investing in youth academies and making follow-ups on the youngsters,” Ntagungira pointed out.
