Mothers are a gift from God. They always support their children whenever they are needed. Whether they fail or succeed, they will always be there.

She gave me the freedom to become my own person. She never pushed me to share her opinions. She respected my beliefs even if they were different from her own. She gave me room to make my own mistakes, knowing that I needed to learn from my own experiences.

She never judged me when I came home crying or said, "I told you so” even when she knew she was right. She has always loved me unconditionally.

Why did God create mothers?

"So that they teach girls about makeup,” says 12-year-old Juliet Uwera. "He also created moms so that girls can tell them about the problems we can’t tell dads. Remember, Mom was there in the beginning.”

For 10-year-old Joseph, moms are always present.

"You were kicking, screaming and making a mess in your diaper. Part of mom’s job is to remind you of your humble entrance into this world,” says Joseph. "Moms are made to be there for us always, and we’ll always be their baby.”

A mother’s unconditional love is based on her capacity to love, not on her children’s worthiness.
