Teenagers’ thoughts on HIV/AIDS

Last week, the 7th Annual Pediatric Conference for children infected and affected by HIV/AIDS was held at Serena Hotel, Kigali. Several children and youth attended and learnt the value of staying safe, and protected against the HIV pandemic. Here is what some teenagers said about the need for HIV awareness in Rwanda. “I was already knowledgeable about staying protected from HIV, and this meeting has sharpened my awareness because I have learnt more.”
