ERITREA is expected to jet in this morning ahead of tomorrow’s 2014 Fifa World Cup return leg qualifier against Amavubi.

According to the acting Director of Sports in the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Culture, Emmanuel Bugingo, the Red Sea Boys who have been booked in at Hotel Umubano, will have a light training session at Amahoro Stadium (the venue for the qualifier) later in the afternoon.

The tie is still wide open following a 1-all draw in the first leg which was held on Friday in Asmara.

Amavubi head coach Sredojevic Milutin Micho is likely to make changes in tomorrow’s game after summoning five more players.

The players include the Police duo of Evariste Mutuyimana and Jacque Tuyisenge, SEC Academy’s Solomon Nirisarike, Proline’s Charles Tibingana and Rayon Sport’s Abouba Sibomana.

In particular, Tuyisenge and Tibingana will fancy their chances of playing a part in the return leg after the first leg exposed defensive weaknesses.

Elias Uzamukunda a.k.a Baby saved Amavubi’s blushes on Friday. The AS Cannes striker came off the bench to equalize for the wasps on the 54th minute.

Tesfalem Tekle had given the Red Sea Boys a first-half lead in front of a capacity crowd at Cicero stadium in Asmara following a defensive blunder by Amavubi’s center-backs.

Rwanda now needs a win or goalless draw to progress to the group stage.
